I am a lifestyle photographer based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I love capturing moments of life: big ones like weddings, graduations, and births, and the little ones, like a warm sunny day, the wind through the hair, and smiles.
A few weeks ago I shot formal (and fun!) portraits for the Sigma Phi Lambda Sorority at the Lantana Golf Club. Here are my favorite shots from the night:
Tommye Sartain, with Prudential Hillman, was my very first session of the day. I was incredibly nervous, but Tommye put me right at ease - she was just as nervous! She also had my favorite thought of the day: in order to get the right smile, she said she'll think of her first million dollar home sale! I thought that was a great idea, and even used it for every session after! Every REALTOR smiles at the thought of their very first million dollar home they sell! She is a neat lady with a great personality!
Caroline Frenette is the type of REALTOR most people imagine - warm, friendly, passionate, but not afraid to stand up for what she wants. She shares my frustration with pictures of herself (this is one of the reasons I am BEHIND the camera!), but was very pleased with the results of her session. I hope to have more clients like her!
Nita Collins is very sweet and warm. She was a joy to shoot and probably had the shortest session out of everyone. She came prepared and was very easy to pose. Nita, I believe, is with a company in Dallas (I think ReMax), though she lives in the Flower Mound/Lewisville area.
Beverly Johnson was very quiet, but knew what type of picture she wanted, which was a huge help! It's nice to be able to respond to what a person want/needs out of their photo shoot. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask which group Beverly was with.
Ron Gourlie, with Taylor Realty, is an incredibly sweet person. He was very laid back about his session, and was pretty easy going about the whole process. Taylor Realty is a world wide real estate group, and one of its members, Tina Murphy, is a great friend to Freedom Title. Ron just joined Taylor Realty this year and I wish him the best there!
Last Thursday, April 9th, I shot 13 headshots for local REALTORS, thanks to Freedom Title in Lewisville. For the next week, I will feature their headshots and a little bit about them. If you know an agent in this area, we have a few spots left for our May 6th date!
First up is Judy Bradley. She is new with Coldwell Banker and needed these headshots ASAP! She was incredibly sweet and very easy going. I wish her the best at Coldwell Banker!
Happy New Year! Two wonderful announcements: I am now shooting with a brand new Canon XSI 12.2mp, and my new favorite subject is my beautiful puppy Kaiah! She is a golden retriever - labrador mix. She is about 5 months old. I will add more pictures as she gets bigger.
Awww! My best friend, Alison and her boyfriend, Josh, were amazing models and helped me out. I wanted to practice couples photography and they gave me a great opportunity. And it helped that they were incredibly cute together!
It's been over a month since Sophie's Baptism, but I'm just now getting around to posting these! She is so funny and makes the greatest faces! This isn't an "official" shoot, but I couldn't resist taking pictures during the baptism.
